The iPad Air is the perfect device for the active student or regular user. It is smaller than the iPad Pro and the operating chip is one generation lower; however, this does not take away from its incredible speed, high-quality camera and ability to work as a small laptop. It is fully compatible with the smart keyboard (sold separately). It also works with the apple pencil so if you are an artist and looking for an iPad to use on the go, the iPad air can work for this. Although it does not feature as much storage as the iPad Pro, it will still work for everyday use.
